Reporting directly to the Area Revenue Manager for Greater Sydney Hotels, the Revenue Analyst will maximize revenues to achieve budgeted and forecasted revenue targets for transient rooms, group conference/events and group leisure.
 
Strategically the role focuses on trend recognition, demand anticipation and opportunity analysis. Tactically the position is responsible for developing and implementing systems, practices and tools aimed at these revenues through balancing demand and revenue maximization techniques.
 
The position is also responsible for ensuring optimal presentation and maximization of business opportunities through brand websites, 3rd party websites, CRO and GDS.
 
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Work with the Area Revenue manager to plan availability of the Greater Sydney Hotels’ room inventory across all distribution channels including Fidelio PMS, TARS and third party web sites;
• Work closely with the reservation team to ensure the correct availability of room inventory across all distribution channels;
• Ensure that all hotel rates and packages are correctly loaded across all distribution channels and liaise with sales and marketing to ensure effective communication of all current rates and packages;
• Through research, communication with peers and experience, proactively develop new tactics and techniques aimed at maximizing yield.
• Develop a thorough understanding of various Channels of Distribution (eg Wholesalers, Inbound Operators, Travel Agents, the Internet etc) and be up to date on current and prospective trends in each segment; and most of all,
• Bring to the role your individual flair, with a sense of innovation and creativity to meet revenue budgets and brand standards
