Bill's Bar is located on the pristine coastline of the Ningaloo Reef. The venue is well-known for its high standard of service, friendly Staff and fast-paced work environment.

About the role

The Restaurant Manager of our Venue must be able to achieve the following tasks (but not limited to):

  • Lead and direct team members on effective methods, operations and procedures.
  • Oversee Front and Back of the House personnel to maintain adequate staffing and minimise overtimes.
  • Interview, select, train and evaluate staff
  • Skilfully interact with external vendors and suppliers to obtain the best quality in pricing and product range
  • Correctly calculate inventory, perform weekly stocktake and order appropriate supplies
  • Money handling, including preparation of banking and daily settlements
  • Promote a positive atmosphere to guarantee each customer receives exceptional food and service
  • Organize special events in the restaurant, including wedding receptions, products promotion and corporate luncheons
  • Deal with complaints and regularly check the level of satisfaction of our Customers
  • Ensure the cleanliness of Bar, Cool Rooms and back area up to the Health Department Standards
  • Prepare for and execute new menu implementation in collaboration with Head Chef
  • Liaise with the Director

Skills and experience

  • At least 3 years proven experience in hospitality
  • Must hold a current WA Approved Managers card and a valid RSA
  • Must be available to work day and night shifts as required by the nature of the business
  • A strong hospitality background
  • Good knowledge of wines, beers and spirits
  • High focus on customer service with an eye for detail
  • Experience in cash handling and staff management
  • Strong team leader with good interpersonal skills
  • Neat and tidy appearance
  • Positive attitude

An ability to speak an alternate foreign language will be looked at favourably due to the numbers of foreign visitors to our venue.
