About the role
Char Char is looking for a Sous Chef to support our Head Chef and inspire our team
What you would be doing
- Bringing passion and a love of food.
- Managing a busy kitchen brigade in the absence of the Head Chef
- Inspiring the team
- Leading by example
- Creativity with Menu items and developing new dishes
- Control and understanding of budgets, C.O.G and wage cost
- Maintaining Consistancy
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for candidates with the following attributes:
- Must have a passion for high quality produce
- Must be creative and have a natural flair for food
- Solid communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Have a can do attitude and most importantly be a team player
