Cater Care are seeking Part Time Catering Assistant for ongoing work at a large Aged Care Facility based in Belrose.
The key to our success is our people and your role in this environment is to provide friendly, attentive and efficient service to our valued residents.
Please note: successful applicants will be required to undergo a Police Clearance.
Roster: Various days and hours across 7 days
Salary: $20.22 p/h
Key Responsibilities include:
  • Exceptional customer service, serving food to elderly residents and patients
  • Responsible for delivery of special diets and diet requirements including allergies/intolerances, texture modified purees and supplements
  • Setting up and clearing dining room, food trays and tea trolley
  • General cleaning of the kitchen and dining areas including washing dishes, cleaning floors and stock replenishment
  • Compliance to food safety hygiene and food handling/preparation procedures
Key Attributes required for the position:
  • Good customer service, strong communication skills
  • Previous experience within Aged Care food service or working with vulnerable persons
  • Food handling experience
  • Ability to work as part of a large team, within a large facility across various levels
Successful candidates will have previous experience in a similar role working in Aged Care, Health or hospitals, be well presented and self-motivated with a strong focus on customer care.
