A fantastic opportunity has become available for Service Professionals to join our Front of House Team to provide personalized service to our guests.
The Mayfair Hotel is located right in the heart of the CBD, this beautiful heritage listed hotel is now seeking Porter & Valet to join our Front of House team.
With 170 luxury accommodation rooms, 3 dining outlets and bars, conference and events facilities, the Mayfair Hotel presents an excellent career opportunity to be part of a team to create award winning food and wine, delivering professional service and exceeding guest expectations.
We are a closely knit team and are looking for a candidate who enjoy the hospitality industry and looking at a potential long term career with the company.
We are looking at candidates who have / are:
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Drive to exceed guest expectations.
- Quick thinker and effective problem solver.
- Excellent customer service skills and friendly service driven culture.
- High standard of personal hygiene and professional presentation is a must.
- Able to work on rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
- Able to work unsupervised.
- Flexible to work night shift.
- Advanced written and oral English skills are essential.

The successful applicant will report to the Chief Concierge and together with the team be responsible for the hands-on, smooth running and success of the Guest Services Operations.
We are looking at candidates with:
- Excellent customer service skills and friendly service driven culture.
- High standard of personal hygiene and professional presentation is a must.
- Advanced written and oral English skills are essential.
- Previous experience in as porter / valet at a 4/5 star property with a hotel property management system is highly advantageous.
- Work well under pressure.
- Availability to work on rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
The successful candidate for Porter/Valet has the following attributes:
- A valid Non Restricted South Australian Driver's License.
- Ability to drive standard transmission as well as high performance cars competently.
- Previous hotel porter/valet experience is desirable.
