- Full Time Opportunity
- Monday to Friday role
- 2 minutes from Cheltenham Train Station
Headquartered in Cheltenham, RACV has a dedicated customer contact centre team specialising in cruises and tours, and are seeking a travel professional to assist with off-phone travel administration and consulting.
You’ll gain inspiration for your own holidays, preparing and processing reservations and managing behind the scenes aspects of travel bookings.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year’s retail or wholesale travel experience, be comfortable swinging between scheduled and impromptu tasks, and be known for your strong execution, follow up and collaboration
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively researching new travel opportunities and add value to existing bookings
- Provide visa advice, book flights, and process payments
- Participation in RACV Travel event planning and execution
- Administer group bookings from beginning to end
- Provide administrative support to RACV Cruises & Tours team where required
Competencies Required
- Proven skills ideally gained within retail travel
- Passion for river and ocean cruising
- Ability to successfully navigate a high pressure interchanging environment
- Exceptional computer skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Suite
- Outstanding communications skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work autonomously where required
- Good Sabre or similar GDS skills
- Strong attention to detail.
