About Monash Health Bureau

Monash Health Bureau (MHB) is an efficient workforce unit that allocates over 450 shifts per day across Monash Medical Centre, Dandenong Hospital, Casey Hospital, Moorabbin Hospital and Kingston Centre.  We deliver experienced nursing and midwifery staff to meet the demands of a multi specialised organisation.

We are now recruiting professional and skilled Registered Nurses and Endorsed Enrolled Nurses to join our Nursing and Midwifery Pool as permanent part time employees to work a minimum of 16 hours a fortnight.

About the opportunities

We are looking for experienced nurses and midwives to work across our different sites and specialties including:

  • Acute Medicine - Emergency ,General medicine
  • Surgery and Interventional Services -Anaesthetics,General Surgery, Neurosurgery , Gastroenterology and Hepatology,Orthopaedic surgery,Monash Heart ,Plastic Surgery , Renal surgery.
  • Speciality Medicine ,Cancer and Critical Care  – ICU, CCU, Oncology,Palliative Care 
  • Sub-Acute, Aged Care and Rehabilitation,Residential Services
  • Community – Hospital in the Home, Post-Acute Care
  • Women's and Newborn  - Birth Unit, Ante and Post Natal,Newborn 
  • Monash Children's Hospital- Paediatrics

You will have the ability to maintain a high level of communication with patients, visitors and colleagues enabling you to deliver exceptional care. You will be the face of MHB workforce and consistently demonstrate our core values.

About You

  • You are an experienced Registered Nurse ,Registered midwife or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with a strong focus on patient centred care.
  • You can accommodate being restored to work your contracted hours.
  • Through your hard working and enthusiastic nature you will have the ability to adapt to changing settings.
  • You will have exclusive access to a Nurse Consultant to support you through your employment at Monash Health .
  • You will have the flexibility to work to a rotating roster which includes morning, afternoon and night shifts.

What you need to have

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Current employee Working with Children’s Check
  • Proven relevant experience
  • Relevant working visa and
  • Relevant qualifications.

What to expect

  • Input your availabilities and receive your roster via our electronic systems
  • You will receive your roster six weeks in advance
  • Exposure to a variety of hospital settings and working with Monash Health’s exceptional health care clinicians
