Our Client is an established and very successful distributor of world leading medical device products throughout Australia and New Zealand. The culture of the company is one which cares and is committed to their employees offering on-going product training and career progression.
In your new role using your sales and / or professional ophthalmic training you will be providing a service with lamps, perimeter and biometer solutions, optical imaging devices, cameras and ultrasound and laser treatment devices. Our Client is committed to excellence in customer service. They are therefore seeking an individual who is highly motivated with excellent communication skills who can communicate with Ophthalmologists across the State of Victoria.
You will be involved in sales forecasting and reporting, the preparation of tenders and contracts along with ongoing service of providing customer product education and post sales service. You will also be attending relevant national conferences.
It is expected that you will be technically and IT savvy as part of your role may involve some assembling of equipment however there are Service Engineers for more complex assembling. You may be an electronic technician, orthoptist, optician or a service engineer who wants to move into a commercial role using your clinical knowledge. Conversely, you may be an experienced Account Manager with Ophthalmology device experience looking to work independently and expand your territory and career with a market leading company.
You will be well remunerated with a base salary, super, car allowance plus tolls and fuel card and a generous and attainable commission structure.
