4 days per week split between 2 practices. One in Kurri and the other Maitland. You will generate your own patient base and feel confident in running clinics such as diabetic etc.
Experience in Treatment Room in a General Practice setting, including but not limited to the following:
- ECGs
- Spirometry
- Childhood Immunisations and Vaccines
- Wound Care
- Sterilisation
- Cold chain
- Ordering of consumables
- Assisting Doctors with minor procedures
- Assisting with the recall and reminder system
- Wound Management
- Women's health
- Knowledge of Health Assessments in General Practice.
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent Telephone Technique
Our Practice IS fully computerised, excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly is essential.
Other important requirements are:-
- - Excellent patient service skills
- - Previous experience in triage
- - The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
- - The ability to liaise with GP's and Allied Health Professionals
- - A sound knowledge of the day-to-operations of the treatment room environment essential
- - The ability to multi-task and problem solve
- - Excellent organizational and communicational skills (essential).
- - Fluent English
Previous experience in General Practice setting is essential, previous experience with MEDICAL DIRECTOR practice management software an advantage.
