We are looking for a friendly and professional Receptionist to work in our new, fully accredited, standalone Day Surgery, located 21kms north of Perth. Reporting to the Director of Nursing, this role involves administrative duties, delivering exceptional customer service and liaising with patients, health care professionals & medical staff.The suitable candidate will have experience delivering exceptional customer service and the ability to learn new systems and processes efficiently. As our Day Surgery is open from Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am-5pm, you will have the capacity to work permanent full-time hours during this period.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming patients into the centre
- Collecting & entering patient details
- Scheduling appointments
- Answering telephone calls & enquiries
- Administration support
- Liaising with Health funds
- Preparing patient files
- End of day banking.
- Work for a leading Health Care service provider.
- Full training provided.
- Security of a permanent full-time position.
- Monday to Friday with no weekend work or evening shifts.
- Day Surgery closed for 3 weeks over Christmas.
- Uniforms provided.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Medical receptionist role.
- Available to work from Monday to Friday
- Ability to work Unsupervised.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Professional & personable telephone manner.
- Strong written & verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand medical terminology.
- High standard of presentation.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of BlueChip is an advantage but not required.
- Demonstrated initiative, time-management & flexibility.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise.
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
