We are seeking to appoint a Full-Time Physiotherapist at our Lifecare Active Wellness clinic, to cover a maternity leave position with the possibility to extend.
We pride ourselves on being the premier Allied Health service for over 50’s in Adelaide. You will be working with a fantastic team of Allied Health professionals with great exercise facilities, including two fully functional exercise studios, a pilates studio and fully equipped gymnasium.
The Physiotherapist will be responsible for conducting clinical assessments, to assist in management of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions and to determine a client’s suitability for the wide variety of exercise programs run at our clinic.
Such programs include Pilates matwork and equipment classes, Strength and Balance classes, pathology specific classes (including MS and Parkinsons) and Strength for Life, along with many others lead by our team of personal trainers.
Ongoing therapy sessions will make use of your hands on clinical skills, work one on one with clients for rehabilitative exercise, and leading group exercise classes. You will be working within a friendly and inclusive multidisciplinary team to support each individual client in achieving their goals.
The clientele are a mix of private paying customers, Medicare, Commonwealth Home Support and Home Care Packages.
The person we are seeking will have at least 2 years experience in outpatient / private musculoskeletal practice, with a passion for assisting older people to maintain independence.
Experience in clinical pilates and running group exercise classes is considered an asset.
