WHAT YOU WILL MANAGE & GROW
  • This Business Development Manager position is responsible for visiting hospitals and specialist private rooms, in Melbourne's Western suburbs, to sell their pathology service to specialist doctors/surgeons building strong relationships with them and C-Suite hospital executives.
  • You will be out in the field, with a designated territory to look after, in metro Melbourne, no regional/country trips, talking to doctors and related staff to ask them to refer their patients to your pathology laboratories, for any form of diagnostic testing, eg. blood tests, as opposed to your competitors.
WHAT EXPERIENCE WILL YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB?
  • Ideally you will have at least 4 years’ experience as a medical device sales representative in the medical device industry or hospital/specialist sales representative in the pharmaceutical industry, with an understanding of key account management.
  • Or you may be in healthcare sales in other areas, like pathology ideally, or related areas.
  • A science, nursing or related qualification is necessary.
