ROLE: Part time Medical Secretary (2-4 days a week)
The successful applicants for this position will be customer focused; team orientated and will have a background in medical specialist clinic. The role includes a variety of administrative functions including;
Job tasks and responsibilities
- Efficient running of administrative secretarial tasks;bt
- Ability to enter data accurately and in a timely manner;
- Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, staff and third party billing agents;
- Attending to patient, visitor and telephone enquiries;
- Raising accounts for the Specialists Centre & receiving payments;
- Daily reporting;
- Billing Health funds & Medicare;
- Flexibility to cover leave.
Skills and experience
- Accurate and efficient computer skills. Genie experience a bonus.
- Quick learner.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Strong interpersonal skills
- A MINIMUM OF 12 MONTHS EXPERIENCE IN MEDICAL ADMIN IS ESSENTIAL.
