Experienced Dental Assistant required at Buderim Dental Surgery for 2-3 days per week (18- 23hrs per week). The role will be on a casual basis with the possibility of additional days in the future.

We are seeking a “Awesome” Dental assistant who is experienced in all facets of working in a dental practice. Our Practice provides a comprehensive range of services and adheres to a consistent high standard of customer service and infection control.

The Opportunity
We are seeking to employ a casual experienced Dental Assistant as the practice has grown and another dentist is starting end of July. The key role will be a dental assistant, but you will be required to help with Reception and Steri Duties when needed.

The ideal candidate MUST have:
* Confidence in assisting in surgery ( 4 handed dentistry techniques a must)
* Experience of using Oasis software
* Experience with Hicaps
* Experience with Reception duties
* At least 5 years dental assisting experience
* High standard of infection control
* Exceptional customer service skills
* Demonstrated initiative, time-management & flexibility
* Ability multi-task and prioritize
* High standard of presentation
* Attention to detail
* Team player with ability to build rapport with patients, dentist’s and staff.
* Professional and friendly attitude
* Compassionate and understanding
* Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
 

The Shift hours will be between:
Tuesday: 7:30am – 5:30pm
Friday: 7:30am – 5:30pm
Every 2nd Saturday: 7:30am - 12:30pm


Wage: As per award ( health professionals and support staff award 2010)
