A full-time Support Services (Laboratory Aide) position is currently available within the Specimen Reception Department of Barratt and Smith Pathology, at our Mildura laboratory.
The position requires a person willing to multi-skill in numerous areas, including unpacking, coding and preparation of pathology specimens for testing, report sorting, data entry and results inquiries.
A background in pathology laboratory services and medical terminology is preferred. The successful applicant will be highly motivated and competent, as well as having a strong customer focus, with excellent verbal and communication skills. He or she must be reliable, flexible and willing to work as part of a team.
