About our Pharmacy
Chemist Outlet Rockdale is a pharmacy that is fully family owned and alongside it's sister pharmacy also in Rockdale. It is fiercely famous for it's incredibly personalised and unique service to it's patients and customers.
It has recently been made the most famous pharmacy on all social media platforms for it's creative posts. It's primary aim is to service the community through quality healthcare and great prices, whilst looking to alter how the industry currently operates.
About the Role
The roles available are for both full and part time and the primary role of the Pharmacist is to perform tasks to the standards set by The Pharmacy Board of Australia, The Pharmacy Guild and QCPP.
Their responsibilities may include:
- Day to day running of the pharmacy.
- Managing the Dispensary/Pharmacy and supervising staff with inspirational instructions and positive encouragement.
- Assisting with customer service queries.
- Inspire sales to ensure the continuing growth of the pharmacy.
- Dispensing scripts using the FRED dispensing system.
- Checking scripts prepared by Intern Pharmacists, Student Pharmacists or Dispensary Assistants.
- Patient counselling on prescription and general pharmacy medicine.
- Processing orders for Dispensary stock and maintaining inventory levels.
- Completing NHS claims.
Skills and Experience
The successful applicant should have the following:
- AHPRA Registration.
- Strong leadership skills.
