Introduction
As a Health Services Support Officer based on the Fraser Coast, you will be required to assist vulnerable youth (17-24 years) with innovative, flexible clinical services as well as education/employment assistance and support to achieve life goals and education/career aspirations. You will foster positive relationships and collaborate with a range of stakeholders to deliver health solutions to support our customers. Opportunity
- Delivering evidence based individual and group discipline specific services including assessments, vocational assessments and counselling services
- Providing services that are evidence based and solution focused for vulnerable youth engaged in education/and or employment
- Undertaking assessment of education/employment capacity with an awareness of physical and personal vulnerabilities of the customers
- Understanding and applying the principals of caseload triage and prioritisation
- Marketing and promoting MAX services
- Writing case notes and documentation and ensuring documentation is in line with contractual standards
About you
- High level interpersonal communication and organisational skills
- Awareness of vulnerabilities to employment and the effects of limited education and unemployment
- Evidence based practice and previous counselling experience
- Solution focused clinical intervention that links to employment, clinical intelligence and Neuro-psychometric testing where appropriate
- Qualifications in Psychology or Allied Health discipline
- Completed domestic and family awareness such as DV-alert or other similar training
