Registered Nurse Graduate Program

We are pleased to announce the application process for the 2019 Registered Nurse Graduate Program encompassing Knox Private Hospital, Bellbird Private Hospital, Ringwood Private Hospital and The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre, commencing Monday 4th February 2019.

Please refer to individual Healthscope websites for further information about the services at each site.

Successful candidates will be offered rotations at a combination of these hospitals, which may include acute medical/surgical, cardiac, emergency, oncology, and rehabilitation, orthopaedics and operating suite.

What our graduate program offers:

The Healthscope Eastern Hospitals Graduate Nurse Program provides a positive and supportive environment in which graduate nurses are encouraged to develop both clinically and professionally while gaining exposure to a variety of clinical specialties.

Rotations:

2 rotations (medical, surgical and/or a specialty rotation)
Nursing/midwifery degree graduates will also be considered

What we provide:

Full Orientation program
Supernumerary time
Paid study days
Support from the Graduate Nurse Coordinator, Ward based Educators and Preceptors
Graduate Nurse In-services

Letter of application including rationale for applying to Healthscope Eastern Hospital Graduate Nurse Program and areas of clinical interest
Current CV
Certified copy of academic transcript
Two certified clinical reports from recent acute clinical placements
Two clinical referees & One non clinical (preferably an employer)
