Physiotherapy Links is a well-established practice located at the Homeworld Medical and Professional Centre at Helensvale. Physiotherapy Links offers a wide range of services including Exercise Physiology & Clinical Pilates.
As one of seven Physiotherapists working at Physiotherapy Links, this is the opportunity to be part of a highly skilled and very experienced practitioner team. We receive referrals from a wide range of Orthopaedic surgeons, Neurosurgeons, Sports Physicians, Rheumatologists and other Allied health professions.
Physiotherapy Links offers monthly professional development, weekly mentoring and an annual professional development day.
Your Key Responsibilities include:
- Treatment of patients using evidence based practice
- Working with varied patients including Private Patients, Work Cover, Medicare Chronic Disease Management & DVA patients
- Maintaining electronic patients notes/records on a daily basis
- Responsible for growing Physiotherapy Links patient base
- Working closely with GP's and specialist on patient referrals
- Completing patient management plans and GP letters on EPC programs
- Involvement in the marketing and business strategies to grow the practice
- Process patient payments as and when required in the absence of the Practice Manager
- Potential to run the practice on a day to day basis in the absence of the Company Director
- Work closely with the Practice Manager as and when required
- Responsible for adhering to the Practice WPHS Standards
- Involvement in Community based programs/initiatives
The ideal Candidate will have:
- Ability to work Saturdays
- Bachelor/Masters in Physiotherapy (new graduates may apply)
- Bachelor of Exercise Science (considered advantageous)
- Clinical Pilates in particular reformer based training (considered advantageous)
- APA registered
- Acupuncture and Dry Needling Qualifications (considered advantageous)
- High level of clinical reasoning
- Proven experience in both hospital and private practice based treatment (considered advantageous)
- Ability to work autonomously
- A passionate and proactive approach to treatment
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Be highly personable and enthusiastic about customer service
- Willingness to go above and beyond for our patients
- Have immaculate grooming and professional presentation
- The flexibility to work as and when required within practice operating hours
- Knowledge of TM2 Practice Software and HICAPS (considered advantageous)
