Emergency Medicine Physician - FACEM

Echuca Regional Health (ERH) is a world class sub-regional hospital which services a catchment population of approximately 45,000.
Echuca is a vibrant tourist town with exciting cultural heritage, restaurant scene, sporting facilities, seemingly endless leisure and recreational options all within 2 ½ hours from Melbourne. Excellent preschool, primary and secondary education options are available.
The ERH Emergency Department (ED) manages in excess of 20,000 presentations per annum. Reporting to the Director of Emergency Medicine, the Emergency Medicine Physician is responsible for:
- Providing high quality clinical care to emergency patients
- Ensuring patient flow is in line with National Emergency Access Targets (NEAT) and other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Supervising Junior Medical Officers (JMOs)
- Supporting continual improvement of emergency services at ERH
This position requires completion of a satisfactory National Police Check and Working With Children’s Check prior to appointment.
