Part Time (22.5 hours per week) for a 12 month contract period, with possibility of continuation
Join a dynamic, supportive Allied Health Team, providing in-home services across the Greater Brisbane region, in a rapidly expanding, not for profit organisation, delivering services through the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and Home Care Packages (HCP). Our Allied Health Team strives to maximise our client’s quality of life and level of independence, enabling them to continue living in their own homes.
About the Role
From our Albion office we service the following Aged Care Regions: Brisbane North and South, Cabool and Logan River Valley.
- Home safety assessments
- Equipment and home modification prescription
- Falls prevention
- Rehabilitation in the home
- Energy conservation
- Supporting and educating family members in their caring role
About You
- Current AHPRA registration (no restrictions)
- Minimum 2 years' experience working as an Occupation Therapist
- Current drivers licence
- Current National Police Certificate issued by the Australian Federal Police
- Enjoy working with clients to maximise their independence and functional level.
- Passionate about providing a quality service
- Strong interest in Aged Care
- Flexible
- Able to plan & organise your own schedule
- Interested in other cultures.
- Able to communicate well both within the team, organisation and with clients and their families
