We are currently recruiting for an experienced Therapy Assistant to join our dedicated team at our working 50 hours per fortnight on a permanent part time basis, working AM and PM shifts at The Oaks, located in Waikiki. This is a great opportunity where you can make a difference for our clients and offer the highest standard of person centred care.
Reporting to the Service Manager, you are required to support the client in therapeutic activities and provide feedback on the client’s progress to the therapist, to enable appropriate goal setting and program review. In this role, you will ensure the activity programs are planned, coordinated and implemented with the appropriate use of resources.
On a personal level, you are a caring person with a positive attitude, expertise and a passion for helping others. You have a Certificate III in Allied Heath Assistance in Aged Care/Disability, a current National Police Clearance obtained within the last 12 months (or a willingness to obtain one), a current Driver's Licence and Senior First Aid Certificate. Significant previous experience in a similar environment and a genuine passion for this role is essential to apply.
