E4 Recruitment are looking for an experienced Aged Care Manager to join a Not for Profit company who really treat their staff well.


THE ORGANISATION & THE FACILITY.

• Not for profit aged care provider with a great reputation in Queensland. They are known for their low staff turnover and supportive approach.
• They have been in the industry for several years and have over 10 residential aged care facilities now across Queensland.
• As they are a not for profit they do offer the option to salary package, if you aren’t familiar with this it means that you will receive $15,900 tax free – earn more and pay less tax.
• The facility is a medium sized facility located in Brisbane's CBD. To support this role is a Care Manager (who has been in the industry for a while), specialists and also a care staff team.
• Head Office is close to the facility and you will also report to a down to earth and approachable Regional Manager.

THE ROLE.
Facility Manager role - this is an important position in the facility as you will be managing the overall operations of the facility.
Some of your main responsibilities will be:

• Managing the finances, budgets and HR
• Staff management – guide your team and ensure that the facility is running up the aged care standards.
• Align with the organisational values
• Ensure that the Care Manager and Care Staff team are providing the highest level of clinical care and customer services to the residents.
• Dealing with any challenges that could be occurring.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED.

• Qualified Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration
• Previous Facility Manager experience in a residential aged care facility in Australia – minimum 3 years.
• Strong management and leadership experience
• Extensive knowledge of the aged care standards, accreditation, legislation and ACFI.
• Passionate about aged care
• Someone who is looking to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty.
