In order to achieve this, opportunities now exist for a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, or Rehab Counsellor, working both on or off-base, to join our experienced team of Allied Health Professionals in Newcastle as a Rehabilitation Consultant; we have two positions available in this location.
 
  
The role itself:

• Specializing as a Occupational Therapist, Exercise Physiologist , Physiotherapist or Rehabilitation Consultant for varied and challenging ADF caseloads
• Conducting various assessments on a caseload of clients (such as vocational, initial rehabilitation, manual handling training, rehabilitation assessments and work site assessments)
• Planning, coordinating and monitoring implementation of Konekt programs
• Liaising with key stakeholders and building strong relationships

Who you are:

• AHPRA, ASORC or ESSA  registered
• Comcare accredited (desirable but not essential
• At least 12 months experience in rehabilitation or occupational health settings
• A self-led and results-focused to drive 360 case management
• Exemplary communication skills and the ability to build relationships with a range of people
