About the role
The Mater Hospital in Rockhampton is currently looking for experienced Registered Nurses – Level 2 for our Emergency Care Centre. These exciting opportunities are being offered on a full-time or part-time basis.
The Mater Rockhampton is meeting the growing healthcare needs of the Rockhampton and Capricorn Region community by opening an Emergency Care Centre. The Emergency Care Centre currently has 8 bays: 3 general cubicles, 1 Resus room, 1 paediatric room, and 3 multipurpose consultation rooms. The service will be open 7 days a week and will see clients from new born through to the elderly.
With a strong history of providing exceptional care to the Central Queensland community for more than 100 years, the Mater Hospital Rockhampton are seeking dedicated professionals to continue this tradition.
As a Registered Nurse – Level 2 within our Emergency Care Centre, you will ensure the provision of quality patient or client care through advanced clinical nursing practice, promote collaborative relationships amongst the health care team, and provide clinical leadership in the coordination of superior customer-focused nursing across the continuum of care.
The role presents an excellent opportunity to work as part of the friendly and supportive Rockhampton Mater team.
Salary range: $44.46 to $47.62 per hour (commensurate with level of experience)
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- 3 years Emergency nursing experience in an acute care setting.
- Experience in which clinical and supervisory competencies have been demonstrated.
- Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency.
