Primary Care Improvement Officer

Fixed Term Part-time

 

  1.  0.8 FTE Location: Tamworth

    The primary role of a PCIO is promote and facilitate change and quality improvement activities across primary care teams to deliver evidence based, high quality care to their patients and communities.

     

    You will achieve this through strong relationship management with the practice team, active communication, hands on coaching and facilitation of quality improvement activities and change facilitation. Thinking outside the square and bringing fresh ideas to solve problems or get around road blocks will be essential to achieving the required KPIs.

     

    Extensive experience in quality improvement and change management is expected. Experience working in a primary care setting will be an advantage but is not essential. A Clinical background would be an advantage but is not essential.

     

    As a PCIO one of your key strengths with be building and maintaining relationships with primary care health providers, other external stakeholders and within the PHN across other portfolios and teams.  The PCIO Team is a strong, supportive team with extensive experience and expertise to support you in this role.
