About The Valley Private

The Valley Private Hospital is an acute medical and surgical hospital conveniently located in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. First opened in 1984, it is has been owned and operated by Healthe Care since June 2007.

We currently provide a 24 hour Emergency Department, 1 Cath Lab, 1 Hybrid Theatre, 10 bed Intensive Care Unit, 17 bed Coronary Care Unit, 7 Operating Theatres, Short Stay Unit and Medical & Surgical Wards.

You will be able to add your valuable experience as a prosthetics clerk in addition to gaining development opportunities in our unique Cath Lab/Theatre environment.

Skills and experience

You will have

  • Knowledge and experience working in a health care setting
  • Procurement experience and associated  skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational  skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Competence using Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously
  • If you are a Division 2 Registered Nurse: Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (AHPRA).

Desirable

  • Previous experience with Oracle Inventory Management Systems or equivalent.
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to work  as part of a small team
