RAAFA is excited to open expressions of interest for the role of Physiotherapist at  the Alice Ross King Care Centre.  This is an exciting opportunity for you to make a positive impact to the 102 residents living with us in residential care at our Bull Creek Estate.

From the beautiful facility and surrounds of our independent living estate to the homely feel and exceptional team within this award winning Alice Ross King Care Centre, we pride ourselves on this wonderful home and impeccable care we offer our residents. 

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Physiotherapist, prepared to go Above and Beyond to promote and support our residents whilst enabling their independence and well-being. 

This position is initially offered on a Full Time basis for a fixed term until 30th June 2019

ABOUT YOU...

The successful applicant will have all the essential criteria as listed below, as well as having passion, enthusiasm and dedication to meeting the needs of our wonderful residents. 

Day to Day you will be;

  • Planning, implementing and evaluating Physiotherapy interventions, programs and activities
  • Delivering best practice Physiotherapy to residents in pain management, rehab and other interventions
  • Ensuring residents are assessed for equipment and functional aids
  • Providing direction, education and support to Physio Assistants and therapy team
  • Data recording, evaluation and reporting
  • Assessing and contributing to care plans

Essential Criteria

  • Degree in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy
  • AHPRA registration
  • Experience working in a similar aged care setting.
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency and experience using an electronic care management system (preferably ICARE)
