About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacist to join the Slade Team at Freemasons Hospital in East Melbourne on a part time basis working Fridays and Saturdays, delivering the highest service levels to our hospital clients. 

Your main responsibilities will include but would not be limited to:

• Maintaining excellent levels of customer service
• Dispensing medications for hospital patients and outpatients
• Serving retail customers and dealing with OTC enquiries
• Processing ad hoc imprest requests
• Ensuring patients and nursing staff receive the correct medication

About You:

The person we are looking for will have the following:

• Valid registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a pharmacist
• A sound working knowledge of the PBS
• Previous experience in an Australian community pharmacy or hospital pharmacy
• Proven problem solving skills with the ability to think ‘outside the box’
• Efficient in Fred dispensing
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary team
