Do you want to participate in creating the best team possible whilst making a positive difference to the lives of our residents? You can do this as a team member within St Vincent’s Care Services (SVCS) Mitchelton and be part of an iconic name within the growth sector of Aged Care.
An exciting opportunity currently exists for a Clinical Nurse to join SVCS Mitchelton. Reporting to the Facility Manager, you will be responsible for the management of clinical practices and maintain high standards of care at all times.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a similar role;
- A current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Nurse Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA);
- Ability to create and maintain individualised care plans, in conjunction with residents and significant others;
- Ability to manage the planning and implementation of resident's clinical care needs in collaboration with all stakeholders;
- Ability to evaluate, review and revise resident’s care plan in collaboration with stakeholders;
- Advanced clinical skills and extended autonomy of decision making skills with the ability to work closely with managers and other senior clinicians;
- Ability to handle family concerns and recognise any important issues;
- Ability to oversee and report clinical or care related incidents;
- Ability to consult with medical practitioners and other health professionals to ensure best outcomes for the resident.
