The Hospital:
This Hospital provides a wide range of services to the community including Orthopaedics, General, Gynaecology, Urology, Ophthalmology, Neuro, General Surgery, ENT and Endoscopy. This role offers you great flexibility to live on the Queensland Coastline and still work in a highly sought after Private Hospital.
A perfect opportunity for an experienced Clinical Nurse or Nurse Unit Manager looking to expand there skill set and challenges.
The Role:
The Theatre Floor Coordinator is responsible for the supervision and coordination of the Operating Suite, maintaining a cohesive work and communication network with Perioperative staff and the wider clinical team.
- To manage the clinical aspects of the operating theatre
- To encourage the effective professional development of nursing staff
- To coordinate safe and effective allocation and rostering of staff members within the Perioperative team
- Be the leader and role model
This is a rare opportunity to lead, inspire, mentor and make a significant contribution to the ongoing success of this outstanding organisation.
You Will:
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Current Theatre experience in Scrub/Scout
- Have worked in a clinical capacity in a perioperative environment as a Registered Nurse
- Highly developed interpersonal skills inclusive of verbal and written.
