MedCity Medical and Allied Health Services is a brand new state of the art medical facility opening in November 2018 in the North-Western Sydney. We are seeking dynamic allied health practitioners to work alongside our general practitioners and visiting specialists in a busy clinical environment.

This independent contractor role allows you to have flexibility in choosing your dedicated hours and days. You can enjoy the freedom of managing your own time, while having access to shared support services. Reception and relevant administrative support with electronic billing, scheduling & appointment booking will be provided by MedCity administration.

The role suits both full time or part time clinicians who are seeking to combine private practice with other employment or family commitments. We are committed to providing our practitioners with a modern and beautifully fitted-out welcoming consulting space, administrative and practice management support, ongoing referrals, and the professional support of our directors and team.

Allied health professionals needed:

• Psychologists
• Exercise Physiologist
• Dietitian/ Nutritionist
• Podiatrist
• Speech Pathologist
• Diabetic Educator

Essential selection criteria:

• Approved tertiary qualifications and current registration with appropriate professional governing body.
• Professional indemnity insurance and ABN.
• Eligibility to provide Medicare Benefits Schedule services.
• Minimum two years' experience in provision of relevant services.
• Excellent skills in engaging and working with the patients, their families or carers.
• Ability to work independently, with strong organisational and time management skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Willing to be a part of a progressive organisation that values high standards of healthcare.
• Excellent communication skills and be willing to attend meetings with GP's and other medical professionals to promote the clinic as a whole.
