About the Role 
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our growing team in our therapy building in Bundaberg.. We are looking for a highly motivated professional that is committed to teamwork and a vision of excellence in evidence-based care. 

Our current team consists of a Physiotherapist, two Speech and Language Pathologists, two Occupational Therapists, and a Dietitian

The successful applicant will have a varied caseload, working with aged clients as well as adults and children with disabilities with a purpose of providing high quality Occupational Therapy services to assist clients to meet their goals through assessment, development of ongoing therapy programs and continued evaluation. Support and mentoring by our current Occupational Therapists and fellow allied health team members is available if required. New and recent graduates are welcome to apply.

Key Selection Criteria

Essential Requirements for Occupational Therapist
A relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
Registration with AHPRA
Demonstrate ability to deliver competent Occupational Therapy services including planning, assessment, individualised and planned interventions and evaluation
Demonstrate ability to work independently and effectively as a member of the team
Demonstrate ability to develop relationships with external organisations and community resources
Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills
Able to register for a Medicare Provider Number
A current driver's license
Be eligible for or hold a Working with Children Blue Card
Be eligible for or hold a Positive Notice Card Yellow Card

Highly desirable knowledge and skills for Occupational Therapist
Experience across all age ranges
Experience in major and minor home modifications prescription across diverse clinical areas
Assistive technology
Experience in Upper Limb Therapy and Splinting
Knowledge and experience working within the NDIS

Attractive salary depending on qualifications & experience; under the Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2010 - Health professional employee level 2 - pay point 3 ($58,489.60) to Health professional employee level 4 - pay point 2 ($81,998.80)

Salary packaging options $15,899.90 ($30,000 grossed-up) per FBT year
Leave loading 17.5%
