An opportunity exists for a motivated individual to join the Psychiatry Department as a case management Senior Clinician. The case management Senior Clinician is responsible for providing a high level of clinical expertise and guidance to the clinicians within this team and clients who are cared for by this community mental health service. They will be involved in intake assessments and follow-up and liaising with external services. The Senior Clinician will also be involved in leadership planning and line management supervision along with other senior duties. This position will work a rotating roster including shift work.
The successful applicant will have well-developed time management and problem-solving skills, the ability to prioritise tasks and work under minimal supervision. Applicants should also possess excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively within a team environment. A sound knowledge of computer based software applications including Word/Excel/database management systems is also required.
