The Role

There are opportunities to join the Infinite team as a Physiotherapist Therapist working across our facilities. This role will report to our Allied Health Team Leader and work collaboratively within the group to ensure that residents in our facilities receive high quality, proactive allied health services.        

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as a multidisciplinary team undertaking resident assessments and developing Care Plans to promote wellness and reablement 
  • Provide pain management interventions, falls prevention programs and conduct exercise classes and prescribe mobility and functional equipment
  • Deliver education, assessment and training for staff in areas such as manual handling and injury management
  • Manage and document risk within the facilities and ensure a commitment to continuous improvements across the group facilities

What we expect from you?

  • Current Physiotherapy registration with AHPRA (essential)
  • You will have an innate empathy for our residents and be committed to continually improving the quality of care provided to them
  • Ability to deliver a broad range of physiotherapy skills sets including aged care, orthopaedics, dementia and pain management
  • Excellent communication skills, with strong time management and organisational skill sets
  • Experience in providing physiotherapy services in an aged care setting and knowledge of ACFI (desirable)
  • Current Physiotherapy registration with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency
  • Current driver's license and access to reliable transport
  • High level of computing and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple case load and stakeholders with a balanced and level headed approach to emergency and stressful situations that arise
