Albury Wodonga Health - Dental Service located in Wodonga is seeking a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Transition to Practice- Dental Educator.
The purpose of the Transition to Practice- Dental Educator position is to provide professional practice and workplace clinical support to early career dental students and graduates with also the responsibility of the provision of clinical education to all learners working within the AWH Dental Service. The TPDE (Transition to Practice Dental Educator) role promotesand role models evidence based practice, professional standards of practice and conduct.
Working within public dentistry allows for opportunities to work with priority access groups, exposure to clinical challenges and patient diversity. We are a well engaged and supported multidisciplinary team with a focus upon providing an important clinical service to our community. Our integrated dental service is part of an exciting state-of-the-art eleven chair training facility in support of the La Trobe University Dental Student Program and also an outreach dentistry model of care. We offer you a pleasant, cooperative working environment and friendly, experienced support staff.
Salaries and conditions of employment will be dependent upon registration and experience as well as within accordance with the Victorian Public Health Sector (Dental Therapists, Dental Hygienists and Oral Health Therapists') Enterprise Agreement 2013 – 2017)
Successful applicants will be required to complete appropriate Criminal Record Screening paperwork/processes in order for AWH to meet its obligations regarding screening for serious criminal offences (within and external to Australia). Applicants unable to commit to this screening process should not submit an application for employment.
Successful applicants will be required to complete mandatory orientation modules using the AWH e-learning system prior to commencing employment.
This is a Category A position; Successful applicants must provide evidence of vaccination prior to commencement.
