6 Month Consolidation of Midwifery Practice
Part Time - 32 hours per week
Fixed Term Position - with the option of ongoing employment on successful completion

Our Post Graduate Midwifery Program is specifically designed for those Registered Nurses that have completed a Graduate Diploma of Midwifery / Post Graduate Degree. We acknowledge that having already completed a Graduate Nurse program are different and we have designed a program that ensures consolidation of your midwifery practice.
This program is a 6 month intensive program. During the 6 months you will have the opportunity to participate in Team Care to gain experience in the provision of care for women during pregnancy, labour and birth and the postnatal period.
In order to apply you must be a Registered Nurse having completed a Nursing Graduate Program with Post Graduate Qualifications as a Midwife - registered with AHPRA.

- CV including your most recent certified clinical appraisal and a clear scanned photo of yourself
- Certified copy of transcript of results or interim results
- 1 x recent midwifery clinical appraisal
- Arrange for 2 Clinical Referees to download the Graduate Midwifery / Nursing Program Clinical Reference Check Form: https://www.thewomens.org.au/health-professionals/clinical-education-training/nursing-midwifery-edtraining/postgraduate-midwifery-program/postgraduate-midwife-applications/#a_downloads
Request that the referee complete the form and submit it via email to Clinical Education at [email protected] by Friday 20th July 2018.
No mailed or faxed applications or reference check forms will be accepted.
