We are currently seeking two experienced Dental Sterilisation Nurses on a Full Time basis to work across our well-established North or South of the River practices!

DB Dental is a well-established dental group with 18 practices across the Perth Metropolitan area. Since we started with one dental practice in 1987, DB Dental has continued growing because our patients love the way we look after them. We continue to ensure that our very high standards of professionalism and service excellence are delivered consistently to our patients in every practice.
About the Role:
- Full-time, fortnightly roster consisting of 4 days a week and alternate Saturdays.
- Identify and understand different dental tools and instruments
- Ensure correct sterilisation methods are used at all times to keep the environment and tools clean
- Understand and maintain high standards of infection control
- Adhere to correct infection control methods, including wearing appropriate PPE
- Operate sterilisation machinery e.g. the autoclave and ultrasonic, amongst others
- Assist the Dental Assistant with patient care, equipment setup and any other ad hoc duties as required
- Maintain records of the use of sterilisation machinery/instruments
- Provide chairside assistance to patients when required.
About You:
- Be warm, caring, reliable, organised, able to work in a fast paced environment and take initiative within your role
- Certificate III or IV qualified in Dental Assisting
- Have at least 1 year experience in dental sterilisation, preferable
- Experience in chairside assisting, highly regarded.
- Highly passionate about the dental industry with a thirst for learning and excelling
- Able to grasp and apply our current practice approaches and protocols
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Able to travel to different practices.
