About the role at the Mater Hospital Bundaberg
An exciting opportunity has become available for a highly skilled and experienced After Hours Nurse Manager to join the Bundaberg Mater Hospital on a permanent part-time basis.
As the leading private, not for profit hospital and aged care organisation in Central Queensland, Mercy Health and Aged Care has serviced the community for more than 100 years. We are seeking a dedicated professional to continue this tradition at our facility in Bundaberg.
As an After Hours Nurse Manager you will be responsible for the After Hours Management of the facility and its human and other resources in conjunction with other members of the management team. You will provide a high level of clinical expertise and support to staff. You will also deliver direct clinical care to patients in collaboration with other treating health professionals.
This role presents a wonderful opportunity to work in a dynamic and caring team environment. You must have the ability to work across a variety of days and shift types. Permanent part-time hours are negotiable. Hours are flexible in accordance with operational requirements.
Salary range: $54.65 to $58.56 per hour (commensurate with level of experience)
As the successful candidate for this role, you will:
- Have registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
- Have prior experience in a nursing management role;
- Be an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident.
