  • Respected private practice - Excellent admin support - Attractive remuneration

About You

You're the kind of person that children and families trust.

You are a caring and confident psychologist who is committed to supporting others and who wants to make a positive difference in others' lives.

You have great people skills, are a fantastic communicator and enjoy working as part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team.

You are keen to contribute to a culture where whole-hearted connection with children, families and colleagues is an everyday reality.

And you want to be of a vibrant practice where banter and a few laughs is the norm.

You're cool under pressure. You're efficient and innovative too.

You want to be financially rewarded for the results you achieve and the support you provide.

You want the opportunity to become more than just a standard psychlogist, because you know that you can deliver much, much more.

Either you're an experienced psycholgist who knows it's time for a change because your current practice just doesn't provide you with what you need to develop your skills and reach your potential.

Or perhaps you're balancing family and work responsibilities and are interested in a part-time role that allows you to manage the demands of your personal and professional life.

Maybe you work in another paediatric environment, such as a school or community health, and are keen to make the move to private practice in a part-time capacity.

Good news! An opportunity is waiting for you at Kids First Children's Services.

About Us

Kids First is an established, award-winning and family owned private practice with a stellar reputation for clinical excellence and for the fun and friendly way in which we help children to achieve excellent outcomes.

Since 2007, our experienced team of speech pathologists, occupational therapists, psychologists and teachers has helped more than 11,000 northern beaches children and their families.

With 11 years' history, and our waitlist is longer than we would like it to be, so we are expanding in order to meet our community's needs.

Children and families come to us through frequent word of mouth recommendations, medical referrals and our strong networks in the local community, so we're looking for a personable and outgoing psychologist who shares our core values and is driven to develop and excel in private practice.

Our vision

At Kids First, our core values are Care, Kindness and Compassion and Making a Contribution.

We are proud of our reputation for 'walking the talk' and living these every day as we help children to achieve their goals.

Our culture is positive, supportive and responsive and we know that the quality of our professional relationships is reflected in the high calibre of care that we provide to our clients and community.

And 'our kids' and their families are not the only people we care about….

We care about you as much as you care about the clients you work with.

We know that to do your job well, you need support, opportunity and the right tools.

We'll provide you with excellent facilities, including fully equipped therapy rooms.

We'll make your life easier with a fast and convenient on-line practice management program that makes writing case notes and doing admin more efficient.

Our full-time professional customer service team will provide you with all the back-up you'll need so that you can focus on your clinical role.

Our friendly, multi-disciplinary team will make you feel welcome and collaborate willingly with you.

And we'll offer an attractive remuneration, so you'll be rewarded for your hard work too.

Not just 'Any Psychologist'

We are not looking for just 'any psychologist'.

We're looking for someone who is a team player, has great clinical skills and a kind heart.

Does this sound like you?

If you are the person we're looking for, you'll be joining a growing team of 4 OTs, 5 speech pathologists, 2 psychologists and 4 teachers.

So if you are an experienced psychologist who is ready to dive enthusiastically into the next phase of your career, we would love to meet you.
