Currumbin Clinic is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist for Maternity Leave Cover within our Private Practice Suites commencing in September 2018. The role is responsible for ensuring the provision of efficient and effective administrative support service in accordance with corporate policies to the Visiting Medical Officers
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service at all times to doctors, patients, visitors, service partners and suppliers.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience with Blue chip & Medical Director (3 years minimum)
- Recent experience as a medical receptionist (3 years minimum)
- Medical typing experience highly regarded
- Medicare/DVA, Work cover & Health fund billing
Required personal competencies:
- Process patient billing, receipting and invoicing in a timely manner
- Ensuring doctors' typing/requests are met
- Answering the hospital switchboard & directing calls
- Providing a high standard of customer service to doctors, patients and staff
- Booking appointments/diary management
Personal Attributes:
- Excellent communication & customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
- Display and mentor professional behaviour
- High level of organisational skills
- The ability to multi task and work in a faced paced environment is a must
- Positive attitude and caring approach
