We have a Medical Science Liaison role available for our high-profile Ophthalmology therapeutic area. In this field-based role, you will engage with Medical experts, HCP’s, and members of the scientific community, utilising scientific and medical evidence-based non-promotional materials to develop peer-to-peer, engaged relationships and provide education support.
You will support the development, launch and commercialization of Novartis products through scientific exchange, seeking external insight to shape Novartis understanding of the therapeutic environment. You’ll respond to requests for scientific information and provide clinical trial support.
About You:
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience working within the Pharmaceutical industry in a Sales, Clinical, or other relevant role. You have proven your ability to develop peer-to-peer, credible relationships with medical experts and decision makers. You are customer focused with a high level of personal integrity – you can influence others and overcome objections because you are truly passionate about the products in this portfolio. You’re autonomous and a self-starter, as well as being collaborative and able to work within a large team. Experience in the Ophthalmic therapy area is highly regarded.
You will also have:
- A relevant qualification such as MPharm, PhD, MD or MBBS or other life sciences
- Proven medical or technical background
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate scientific information to a diverse audience; from physicians to patients to internal colleagues
- Ability to use IT tools and interface effectively with a variety of technical platforms
- Ability to adapt, organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a constantly changing field-based environment.
