Fronditha Care is a longstanding Aged Care Provider committed to delivering services to Australian elders of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Backgrounds. We focus on providing unique services both in residential and community care for elderly people of Greek speaking background in Victoria and of multilingual background in New South Wales.
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Community Services Division as a Home Care Packages (HCP) Advisor.
This is a Full Time, Fixed Term 12 month position. The successful candidate will be a lateral thinker who thrives on ‘looking outside the square'.
Requirements
The position of a HCP Advisor is responsible for the following:
- To work within Fronditha Care's Consumer Directed Care Model of Service.
- To provide leadership and management to direct care staff through proper support, supervision and training.
- To ensure service delivery meets consumers' needs, HCP Operational Manual, The Aged Care Act 1997 and Fronditha Care's quality assurance goals.
The successful candidate will have qualifications in social sciences, work experience in the field, as well as an understanding of the ageing process and dementia care. Ability to speak Greek is highly desirable as well as a current driver's license with access to own vehicle (staff of community services also have access to pool cars during business hours).
The successful applicant will also be required to undergo a current police check.
