About the business
Remedy Healthcare is a wholly owned subsidiary of Australian Unity - we provide a range of telephone based health coaching programs at risk of, or managing a chronic disease and obesity. We help by facilitating programs which support our clients to self-manage their condition and make positive lifestyle changes.
About the role
As the Senior Health Coach you will manage a client caseload & deliver chronic disease management coaching programs as well as supporting individuals to achieve goals and optimise management of their health status through the use of behaviour change and self-management principles and strategies, and service linkage.
You will also ensure effective day-to-day quality, activity and people management of our health coaching team. The role will work closely with the Health Coaching Services Manager to maintain activity, effectively train, support and develop people and ensure a system of quality management activities are undertaken

Skills and experience
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A qualification in an allied health related discipline
- Excellent communication skills
- Tech savvy and keen to utilise innovative modes of health care provision
- Experience managing and facilitating behavioural change in clients with chronic illness
- Full, un-restricted registration with the professional body related to your qualification
- Enjoy phone based work with a personable attitude
