Practice Nurse - RN
We are seeking Registered Nurse for an exciting opportunity to work at Green Point Medical Centre. You will have a great team work ethic as you will be working within a team of experienced professionals supporting our 6 GP's and working along with our practice nurse in the Practice. You will be responsible for immunisations, wound care, women's health, triage assessment and chronic disease management etc.
This is a fully computerised Practice looking for a Practice Nurse to work Full Time or Part time.
The Criteria
In order to be successful in this position, it is essential that you meet the below criteria:
- AHPRA Registered;
- Bachelor Degree of Nursing (or equivalent);
- Previous Australian experience within a similar role;
- Immunisation Certificate;
- Ability to work within Australia.
- Previous General Practice Experience
Duties include but are not limited to
- Conducting health assessments and care plans
- Following up on patient results and recalls
- Infection control and sterilisation
- Maintaining stock levels
- Assisting in wound dressings and management
