Are you looking for a rewarding and exciting opportunity to be part of a talented global team that positively impact lives?  Do you have a positive attitude and a passion for innovation?

As a leader in orthopaedic innovation, Corin has pioneered a number of landmark orthopaedic developments since its foundation in 1985. We are very proud that we have been able to improve the quality of life of thousands of patients around the world through these ground breaking products, and believe this heritage distinguishes Corin within the global orthopaedic market.  Our technologies enable surgeons to perform patient-specific procedures and gain a unique level of insight and understanding allowing them to easily monitor progress and achieve the most positive results.  Improving patient satisfaction is at the centre of everything we do by delivering personalised technologies that optimise our clinically proven joint replacements.

Our Corin Australia team are currently looking for a motivated and positive new member for our team of Production Engineers within the Optimized Ortho division of our business.  Our amazing team of dedicated Production Engineers are responsible for the production output for global cases from within the Australian office. This includes the analyses, interpretation, segmentation, design and development of patient specific reports and guides for orthopaedic surgeons to use pre and intra-operatively through both face to face and active learning tools. This is a full-time, ongoing position and will be based out of our Sydney office located in Pymble, conveniently located within walking distance to the North Shore train line.

In order to be successful, you will need a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, health care or other scientific discipline or educational equivalent, combined with a year’s work experience within a corporate setting, ideally within the medical device industry, or a regulated environment (exposure to 62304 or 13485 is highly desirable but not mandatory).  In this role, you will have a direct impact on the outcome of the patient and as such a passion for the highest standard of patient care, exceptional level of attention to detail and a process driven mind is a must.  As we are continuing to grow, develop and improve our services, we are looking for someone who is able to take initiative through both the identification and troubleshooting of areas of improvement in the production process.  You will enjoy working as part of a team, have exceptional communication skills and be able to collaborate well with other departments to facilitate process changes.

On top of this you will need to be able to manage and prioritise your workload to meet strict production deadlines.  Exceptional computer literacy is a must, including strong knowledge and experience within the Microsoft Office suite of applications. An understanding of 3D geometry mathematics and/ or experience with 3D CAD (SolidWorks) and segmentation (Simpleware ScanIP) software will be highly regarded.

At Corin we believe that to be successful at work, you need to enjoy what you do. You have to be rewarded for your efforts and motivated to keep going even when the pressure's on. We will help you to play to your strengths and develop and build a career you can be proud of.  Apart from the more traditional methods of remuneration, the benefits of working within the Corin Australia team also include free gym membership, regular social activities organised by our social committee, a seriously fun and supportive team and opportunities to showcase your innovative ideas.

To apply, please email your CV and covering letter to Liz Hawes (HR Manager) at [email protected] .  We will be looking to fill this position as soon as possible.  Please note, whilst we would love to be able to respond to you all, we are expecting a high volume of applications for this role and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
