A occupational health service is looking for an experienced Chief Operations Manager who can enable the business to effectively deliver services and achieve its vision and purpose.

Our client is a national provider of workplace health and safety services. They work with some of Australia's largest companies as well as small to medium businesses to reduce injuries in the workplace and improve the health and well-being of their staff.

The successful applicant will be running the day to day operations of the business that employs 20 Allied Health Practitioners in varying capacities.  You will be supported by the Executive Team, which comprises of the CEO, Relationship Manager and General Business Manager.
 
Key areas of responsibility includes:
  • Manage and execute the company’s strategic plan
  • Develop strategic plan objectives by leading business development and management processes
  • Formalise and review the quarterly Top 5 priorities for the business and management team and implement KPI’s to support the achievement of these  
  • Create, manage and deliver operational inputs to achieve operational success, efficiency and profits
  • Create and implement a companywide strengths based structure aimed at ensuring the best possible outcomes for stakeholders  
  • Enhance and refine KPI’s linked to operational performance for all team members
  • Budget management
  • Act as a formal line of communication between the Managing Director and team members
  • Establish, design and execute a digital health and technology innovation process for the business and its clients
The successful candidate will have:
  • Between 2-5 years prior experience working in an executive administration position
  • A minimum of 2 years project management experience
  • Previous experience working in a clinical role e.g. Physiotherapy
  • Experience in establishing, measuring and enhancing strategic plans
  • Experience in creating operational objectives and measures
  • Experience in working with and communicating to a diverse and geographically separate team and at multi levels internally and externally
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Package and Case Manager with the ability to create document suites enabling new staff to be inducted competently
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work and manage their time effectively as well as members of the management team
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
