We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Medical Secretary to join this group of occupational physicians. Strong typing skills and well developed medical terminology knowledge are essential for this diverse job share opportunity.
Working days will be Thursday and Friday 8am-4.30pm, applicants must also be flexible to cover for holidays or sick leave when required.
To be considered you will need to demonstrate the ability to work in a collaborative environment utilising a range of modern technology. Previous Genie experience is essential along with the ability to prepare and produce medico legal documentation and reports.
There are limited public transport connections to the consulting room location, therefore a driver’s licence is essential. Secure on-site parking is provided.
Applicants should possess the following skills and attributes:
- Experience of Genie software essential
- Strong typing speed
- Dictaphone experience
- Medico legal experience highly desired
- Mature, professional attitude and presentation
- Excellent communication skills
- Medicare, DVA and private health fund billings
- Medical terminology
- Must be able to cover for sick and annual leave
