Tinonee Gardens is a leading residential aged care facility offering compassionate care for older people in a welcoming and inclusive community. We cater for the unique needs of our community of 159 residents from culturally & linguistically diverse backgrounds.
About the role:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for experienced, passionate and motivated Registered Nurses to join our team. In the Registered Nurse role you will work closely with staff, residents and families, providing clinical support and guidance to staff. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for ensuring all required documentation is maintained, medication management and continuing delivering and promoting high standards of professional care.
What are we looking for?
- Current Nursing AHPRA Registration
- Experience in Aged Care/ Dementia specific care
- Experience in leading and managing multi-disciplined staff to provide quality care to residents
- Demonstrated competence in the management and application of clinical nursing procedures that meet current best practice
- Demonstrated commitment and capacity to implement and support Quality Improvement
- Sound knowledge of ACFI and Aged Care Standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Sound decision making skills including an analytical approach to problem solving
- Demonstrated awareness and understanding of Work Health and Safety Management, Equal Employment Opportunities and Multiculturalism
- Drivers Licence
- Bilingual ability (desirable)
