Northern Health is seeking an experienced and proven health care leader to join our Emergency Services Team. The organisation and the Emergency Department are on an improvement journey as we continually strive to deliver excellent care to our community.
Northern Health ED is the busiest in the State with more than 98 000 presentations. The ED Nurse Unit Manager will be responsible for more than 200 staff and assist in the achievement of our KPIs as outlined in our Statement of Priorities.
You will bring expert clinical knowledge, innovative management skills and an ability to lead change in this dynamic specialty area. As the successful applicant you will have the opportunity to deliver high quality patient focused clinical outcomes.
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Current nursing registration with AHPRA
- Extensive emergency nursing experience
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Demonstrate a quality and risk focused approach to decision making
